Merry Christmas!

Hope everyone is having a great time. We are! Sarah is a little sad as this her last Christmas as a "child" next year she will be an adult. I can't be;ieve how fast the time as gone by. Thank you for all the love and all the great memories Sarah, you are the best! Hope you enjoy your new dolls from Santa, So happy we added another Amber and Ashley to the family (and yes that this their real names they come with!).

Hannah recieved a fishtank from Santa, she is our last true believer! She also received a new carseat for William from Grandpa and Grandma Clark. She was a little sad as it is pink but so far William hasn't complained. Sarah bought her a new diary and pens (shaped like lipstick) and she is happily writing her memories!

As for Jarod he was sad going into Christmas as he only had 2 gifts until the tree. Come the morning he had 5 and one of them is the wonderful new laptop I am currently typing on. He needed it for school and between the money he got for his birthday and his mom and dad he now has a nice laptop to play with.

Art and Kat get to spend next week together so they are happy with their gift also.

We hope you all have a great day and a happy new year, may 2012 bring you all joy, great memories and peace! Love the Party of Five! Art, Kat, Sarah (who will become ZarahBeth in 2012), Jarod and Hannah

Hannah's X-Mas Wreath!

On Black Friday Hannah and I went to Joanns and Michaels. We bought some yummy flannel for comfy pants for the teens (as she calls them) and for her. She also picked out this fun pink and blue Christmas ribbon (it is so her). We then made this fun ribbon wreath! Love it!

Yes Grandpa! We do have snow!

Happy 13th Birthday Jarod!

It was actually on November 14Th but I am having blog issues.

So, On Monday November the 14Th Prince Charles turned 63 yrs old and Jarod turned 13 years old. By Sarah's reasoning this makes Jarod a Prince! What? how can that be? Well Sarah shares her birthday with Prince William which has always made her a Princess and because Hannah is July 3rd and Princess Di was July 1st Hannah is a Duchess (close but not close enough so you go down a step) but don't feel bad for Hannah she shares her birthday with Thomas Gibson, Hotch from Criminal Minds. If you ask me he is way cuter than some old and young Prince!

ANYWAY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY PRINCE! As daddy said to Sarah when she turned 13 we look forward to seeing you again in 6 years! LOVE YOU, MOM AND DAD PLUS 2 AWESOME SISTERS!

A gift from one sister to another!

Our redhead ok auburn girl!

SarahBeth is the one who colored and cut her hair. She must have taken off about 8 inches and she layered it. It really is a nice cut on her. We must Thank Ruey for all her wonderful and talented work on our hair!

This is Hannah with one of her new pairs of glasses. Aren't they cute?

I added this one so you could all see Sarah's new glasses! They are so nice on her, even if they do remind me of the kind girls wore when my dad was in high school, like 1954?!

Not sure why???

I haven't posted much lately because our new computer is not liking blogger. I can write a post but it won't let me post it. I am writing this note on hubbies work computer:)

So, this past Sunday I had a wonderful visit with my sister and her husband Rob. They were here visiting Rob's daughter, son-in-law and new granddaughter, how exciting!

SarahBeth, Can we have that wonderful vidoe you made for Hannah's Birthday? It was awesome and I would love share with family and friends. Thank you beautiful! I also need to get a picture of you and Hannah so we can show off new haircuts and show which one of you has a new hair color, EXCITING!

More to come soon, I hope!

So much going on, no time to post...

So, in June SarahBeth turned 17 (the exact age I was when I met her daddy!) A few days later we drove to Vegas, kids visited Grandpa and Grandma Clark and of course, Jill and Billy, almost forgot Bruce, Holly and Bailey! I so want Holly (hint hint daddy dear!) Anyway, Art and I had a weekend on his employer so we stayed at a hotel on the strip and went to Boulder City (this is what happens when you are born in Vegas, you leave it) we walked to a few shops, thank you sweetie for taking me in the quilt shop, I love you~ then we started to drive back to Vegas when I spotted a doll store, long story short, they sell The Wizard of Oz characters as Baby Dolls! So, daddy bought his princess Sarah an Elpheba (wicked witch of the East) doll and she is sooooooooooooo cute! Even better was giving it to Sarah and watching her face light-up!

Then we came home, worked for a week and are now about to leave again. This time for an 8 hour drive to Lake Arrowhead. We will celebrate Hannah's 11th birthday with good food, family and fireworks over the lake, it is so cool! We also (us girls) have a spa day planned on Thursday with haircuts and one of us is changing her hair color and it could be any of us, you'll have to return to see photos to see who it is and to see what color it is. In this house someone could be going PINK!

Anyway, when we return I will post notes and pictures! Have a fun and safe Fourth of July! Love to all!

Great Weekend, well at times!

I had a great weekend, at times. First Sarah and I went to Phoenix to see Billy Elliot (Broadway Show). I used google map for directions which were WRONG! Got lost a little but found our way. After show we got really, really lost, trying to find a Sweet Tomatoes, we love salad! Anyways, sweet dear hubbie 2 hours away in Flagstaff helped us find our way home. YEAH for great Hubbies!

When I left our half bath (which our agent feels is the only thing that "dates" our house) looked like this...well I'll be I took pictures of it before I left and my camera lost them, really weird. Anyway, it had a toilet and a pedestal sink in a ugly color we think is called mexican sand. Just a note this house was not built in the 70's but in the 90's but mexican sand color would have gone great in a 70's home.

Now I have a cute and clean looking room see...

Thank you my sweet boys, Art and Jarod did this for me, I planned to help Art do it on Sunday but my men did it for me:)

Thank you Dad! This is the sink and cabinet you found at Home Depot, isn't it cute?
Now does anyone want to buy my house, PLEASE?

Remember to watch what you pray for...

Mrs. Donovan was walking down O'Connell Street in Dublin when she met up with Father Flaherty. The Father said, "Top o' the mornin' to ye! Aren't ye Mrs. Donovan and didn't I marry ye and yer husband 2 years ago?"

She replied, "Aye, that ye did, Father."

The Father asked, "And be there any wee ones yet?"

She replied, "No, not yet, Father."

The Father said, "Well now, I'm going to Rome next week and I'll light a candle for ye and yer husband."

She replied, "Oh, thank ye, Father." They then parted ways.

Some years later they met again. The Father asked, "Well now, Mrs. Donovan, how are ye these days?" She replied, "Oh, very well, Father!"

The Father asked, "And tell me, have ye any wee ones yet?"

She replied, "Oh yes, Father! Three sets of twins and 4 singles... 10 in all!"

The Father said, "That's wonderful! How is yer loving husband doing?"

She replied, "E's gone to Rome to blow out yer fookin' candle."

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Yep! Today is our daddy's birthday. It was an Ice Cream themed party!

The yummy fixings for ice cream and cake! Thank you SarahBeth for a wonderful cake!

Daddy's cake and ice cream tower! As you can see, he LOVES ice cream!

Miss Hannah with her creation.

**A special note Hannah added fruit after mom made a banana, strawberry and wild berry ice cream bowl. Jarod then added a cone to her bowl to make a party hat. It was a sight to see!**

Sarahbeth's gummy worm and ice cream.

Spring time...NOT!

So, I saw our realtor yesterday and told her how we want to list the house except I can't stain the deckd due to weather, BTW she agrees with me that the decks need to be stained. She has promised me next week will be sunny and warm. I hope she is right!

Weather update, yes we had rain and yes today we have snow!

Moving update, anyone know anything about North Dakota? I'm thinking Fargo?

Looks nice right?

Why do the GODS hate me????

I planned to work on my decks today after work and after Jarod and I did his schoolwork. So, I went to check the temperature to see if I needed shorts or sweats. What did I find?????????? I need neither because it is going to rain tomorrow 60 to 70% chance, to high a percent to take the chance it won't rain. Also the 3 days after the rain it says, yep you got it, SNOW! We can't list this house for sale until I stain the decks, daddy help me!!!!!

A better video of Living On A Prayer!

THEY NOW HAVE A FACEBOOK PAGE, TWITTER AND A FEW OTHER THINGS!

They are going to start to sing back-up and let her pick a "girl" song. I vote for Joan Jett and I Love Rock and Roll! She also needs to learn the words better. She only had a few weeks practice.

A fun project with Hannah...

so, it is getting warm (not were we live, we have had snow twice this week!)But in some places it is. At church this past Sunday I planted seeds. Now I know this can get expensive but I have a few ideas. First check out your local Dollar Tree, they have seeds. If this doesn't work for you then do a seed swap, with friends, neighbors and family. Really you don't usually need all the seeds you get in a package. As for containers, my seeds are sitting in an egg shell, the top was broken off, egg was used, then shell was cleaned and now it has dirt and seeds, how cool is that? Next weekend at Home Depot I will be building a basket (for free) and that is were my seeds will go to when they are to big for there egg shell. So, do any cousins want to grow plants with me?

Love,
Hannah

Letterboxing

This post is for Cousin Ash and anyone else who wants to explore where they live.
Letterboxing is a fun and basically free hobby. You sign up here (I don't think you have to but we did) http://letterboxing.org/ You give yourself a name. We are "The Party of Five" we made stickers, you could always just write it. Then we bought a stamp, a stamp pad and a notebook. Then you go to the website above, locate where you live and find where boxes are hidden. You do not use GPS for letterboxing. Letterboxes usually take you to beautiful must see places. When you find the box you will find a stamp (some are really awesome handmade stamps) and a notebook, sometimes a stamp pad. You then use their stamp to stamp your book, write down the name of the place. You then stamp their book with your stamp and leave your name for them. If you look through the book you will see messages sometimes and some people leave where they are from. An example is our first box had a stamp from the UK, a couple and their grandchildren where traveling across America and letterboxing as they went. The kids thought it was so cool. Our first box was on the original Route 66 that is not longer used. I didn't even know this place existed. If you sign up you can also make a box and leave it with directions on the web-site for other people to find. We have always wanted to do this. I think we might this summer when we are in Lake Arrowhead. If you go on vacation remember to print out a few locations. Have fun, love Hannah and her mom!

****Any kind of stamp will work:) We got ours at the Dollar Tree, they also sell ink pads and small books.****

I just noticed Hannah and I haven't posted in sometime..

So, what you have missed. Art and I celebrated 19 years, well kind of...for those who don't know this small fact Art and I took the "big leap" on Leap day. Yep, we said I do on 2-29-1992 at 2:29pm, Thanks Pastor Dave! I was a young 19 and Art was a young 23. Of course 7 days later I turned 20, which means this March 7th I turned 39. Last year of my 30's.

I will be signing Jarod up this coming week for FALA the same school Sarah goes to. He will be going into the 7th grade next school year. Jarod is also about 5 feet 9 inches at only 12 people, he is his fathers son. I need to post pictures. Sarah is an incredible young lady, Jarod is turning into a young man and Hannah is well Hannah. On a sad note, Hannah recently ended a 2 year relationship with one of her boyfriends. His name is Chris, I believe he is now 25 maybe 26 years old. Sadly we went to dinner one night and ran into Chris and his date! YEP! he was "cheating" as Hannah put it and she doesn't date cheaters. I just love how this young ladies mind works because Chris is one of several young men that Hannah has as a "boyfriend". Apparently it is OK for her to several boyfriends but they are not allowed to date other girls. So, Hannah will you be breaking up with John anytime soon now that you have met his girlfriend?

Quick up-date on the Princess Puddin Pop!

For those who don't know all the details. Hannah went to the doctor 2 weeks ago and we were told she needed surgery now. This is surgery on her ankles, both of them and on her left leg. The ankle part I was ok with, it was the leg length surgery that had me shaking my head and calling daddies, mine and hers! You see, the doctor wants to stop Hannah's left leg from growing anymore with hopes that the right leg will catch-up. I have known about this procedure since she was 4 months old, but I thought it was done between 12 and 13 yrs old, not 101/2 yrs old. KT support group gave me the same information. One young lady had the surgery at 10 and her shorter leg become her longer leg, same problem just different leg. Another young lady (who sounds like our Hannah) didn't have the surgery and like Hannah was "delayed" in growth and didn't hit puberty until later in life and never needed the surgery. There is so much more information about this, things that just don't make me comfortable with doing the surgery now, which brings me to my next issue.

I have always had a spare Ortho Doctor for Hannah. He was in California. I went to pull in out and WHAM! He has moved to New York! So, I have called and left him a message and I have e-mailed the Hospital he works for. I am hoping he can pull a spare doctor out of his back pocket who lives in California or even Arizona. If not, I will have to contact Shiners hospital in LA and see if we can get her in there.

Dad in case you are wondering, I am SICK of lemonade, so life can stop giving me lemons and When God closes a door, he also nails shut all the windows!

For Ash, Wyatt, Kay-Kay and anyone esle who...

made a battery holder at Home Depot. Yes I said a battery holder! We (Jarod and I) made them for our mother. She uses one shelf to hold Pearl Ex powder. They come in containers small enough to fit. Will try to get picture for you, right now camera is MIA. So you say you don't have Pearl Ex powder, well first we would like to say we understand, the stuff is expensive. Mom got an awesome deal on hers! Second. it is cool and fun stuff.

You can store hot wheels on it. You can really have fun and make small works of art and use it as a small gallery. Kay-Kay can use it in her doll house as a large bookcase. Wyatt could store pieces of anything his action figures might have. Lay it down and Kay-Kay and Ash you can store jewelry. Lay it done and may be small dolls can sleep in it. Our dollar tree sells small clear containers (you have watch for them, they go fast) you could put spices in the small containers and use it as a spice rack. May be the small Gerber baby food jars would also work. OH MY! How could I overlook the best idea of all, use it to start or hold your rock collection, Grandpa Dobson would love that!

Just a few ideas, if I think of more I will let you know!
Love, Hannah!

Mom is up and running AGAIN!

Just wanted to let you know our mom has re-opened her blog...Flagoddsnends...it is in our sidebar. Stop by and see the first project she has done. We will say, they are cuter in person than in the photos, and yes they are cute in the photos! She plans to have Hannah help her with the blog as Hannah also likes to create. Hannah will have more child friendly projects. Like what to with a Home Depot Battery Holdre when you don't need such a thing!
