I too was creative in my clothes. For example: in fifth grade I wore boy flannel boxers as shorts to school (many times). :)
Mom wore boys boxers in high school. She wore them under her skirts in case of wind. She also wore long underwear in winter for warmth. She says the nuns REALLY disliked that.
